The old COPP got shutdown because of childporn. Depfile was taken down because of childporn (they didn't care). And so will "THIS COPP" be taken down soon, because of the same reason - because the admin didn't care and isn't able to hire some mods, cleaning up this garbage and those fucking pedo users.

The old COPP was horrible, and you're able to see the difference here. If somebody's posting pedo stuff, or asking about under thirteen kids, you'll see them get swiftly banned. In addition, the admin also took care of spambots really quickly given all of the ad topics they posted. In addition, if you see pedophilic posters on here who have gone unnoticed, report them, give them bad rep, and make a topic about them and their pedophilia in general. Finally, Admin is still trying to work out bugs with the site, and that's their top priority before things like deleting users who request it (as opposed to pedophilic posters) of hiring mods (seeing as this site's revenue is driven by those three ads, hiring others isn't feasible right now)

I've seen people post pics like that before, and post text asking for that too. But it's usually deleted within a day. So I don't know what the admin is doing, but someone is taking care of business here.

The admin can't possibly review every posting 24/7. If you see a pedo post, report it. I've reported several and the admin gets rid of it within a day.

By the way, thanks Mr. Admin, whoever you are!

One of the things i dont get is the fact you cant edit your own threads, lots of people asking to delete their posts, and the solution would be so easy, just let the users edit their posts, its an easy option in phpbb forums...

In the old copp the same, and the people was asked for money to remove posts. Maybe here will be this way?

Half of people would delete their posts 5 minutes after posting and would make all cum tribute requests broken.
Removing posts and account require a fee which reduce server costs. In case you are wondering, we don't make money out of COPP, we just lose less money now.

I have been wondering how you make money, and how you can afford to pay for the servers and bandwidth, even if you donate your own time. I'm grateful, but It doesn't seem sustainable.

Since March 2018 COPP costs about $200 per month (server + bandwidth + external hosting) and will soon need a better server (more powerful with more space). For example, CPU load is always at 100% in the evening.

I'm paying to keep this website online, and don't get anything special back except a lot of insults lately.

More than 70% of users who ask for account deletion are here for less than a week, it's really not serious, so i chose to ask for a fee to them for the manual removal of their account/posts, except if there is a victim who didn't ask to be on this website.


COPP has costed me about $1000 since 2015, and easily more than 1500 hours of work (coding, moderating, ...)
I treat at least 100 post reports a day and try to fix bugs after my work time. the last one i fixed is the "error 500" page, but which could come back since it's a bug related to the server performance.

If you are wondering why your report is not treated, I must proceed by priority. For example, I first treat the police mails, then the reports about child porn, then the rest.

I write rarely because there is always more important to do here, but i'm here every evening, doing stuff that nobody sees
