I have been wondering how you make money, and how you can afford to pay for the servers and bandwidth, even if you donate your own time. I'm grateful, but It doesn't seem sustainable.

Since March 2018 COPP costs about $200 per month (server + bandwidth + external hosting) and will soon need a better server (more powerful with more space). For example, CPU load is always at 100% in the evening.

I'm paying to keep this website online, and don't get anything special back except a lot of insults lately.

More than 70% of users who ask for account deletion are here for less than a week, it's really not serious, so i chose to ask for a fee to them for the manual removal of their account/posts, except if there is a victim who didn't ask to be on this website.


COPP has costed me about $1000 since 2015, and easily more than 1500 hours of work (coding, moderating, ...)
I treat at least 100 post reports a day and try to fix bugs after my work time. the last one i fixed is the "error 500" page, but which could come back since it's a bug related to the server performance.

If you are wondering why your report is not treated, I must proceed by priority. For example, I first treat the police mails, then the reports about child porn, then the rest.

I write rarely because there is always more important to do here, but i'm here every evening, doing stuff that nobody sees

All fine except running this site is your choice, if you can't afford it or simply want to spend your money in other ways delete the site. That's your choice but you can't expect others to pay for it for you. It was YOUR choice to create and run this website, no one forced you. Though I do agree that the insults you receive are out of order but a lot of that would be cured if you put some moderators in place. Everything you said the other COPP admin did wrong, charging for posts to be removed, no moderators etc is now happening here.
it's a good site but it would be a lot better with moderation, the chat is completely out of control now

I inform you that nothing would exist in this world using your system "you work and you pay or delete". Nobody would make a website in the only aim to lose money. Trying to reduce costs and make people taking part of this website contribute to its survival is different than making them paying in my place. Your arguments are very inappropriate.

Honestly, I'd like to see a small membership fee in order to have the right to post. It could be a tiny amount per person but still cover your costs. That would be fair and make the site more sustainable. Again, I want to let you know how much I appreciate the site, and the work you do to make it available to us.

So you consider that building a website like COPP should just be a hobby. I don't agree with you.
Your example is wrong, I don't go to gym but build a gym and offer a service freely.
If you can do better, where is your website? Listening to you, there would be nothing.
You complaint about the money i get, but it does not exceed $300 until now.

It's nothing to do with the money you get, if you get it legitimately that's fine, if you get it by holding people to ransom for deleting photos that is a HUGE problem. Mainly because you used to have a warning up on this Forum telling people not to send money to the other guy who ran the other Forum. The biggest single issue on this website now is that it is just like the old one, underage, spamming etc etc etc
No one can expect you to police the website 24 hours or to catch all the offending posts but you need a moderating team. If you don't you will almost certainly end up like that other guy. Remember the name "cumonprintedpics" is known by the mass media due to the other Forum. it's up to you of course but that's where my focus would be, get rid of the illegal stuff and get a team to help you

Regardless, you still have support here admin.
As said before if you want $ donations to help, there are those that will support the site.

Official moderators would still be a good investment in easing the burden on you to quite a degree when it comes to site managment.

Wanted to add, I still think it's a really good idea to have a subsection somewhere for female members that interact in topics.
It's rather hard to find them mixed in the different sections, like the legit ones that prove themselves via selfies with copp notes.

New to the site so excuse my noob-dom but I'm a little unclear as to some of the jargon used in the forums. What is/are 'fakes' and 'faking'? And does 'no limits' mean what I think it means (i.e. pertaining to the not strictly legal...)?

fakes and faking means that someone is photocopying a picture of someone on another man/woman typically from a porn scene or nude shot. For example someone posts a picture of their ex girlfriend and asked for it to be faked someone Photoshops their face on to Mia Khalifa nude. No limits means that you can say or do whatever you want to the person uploaded doesn't mean that they are underage just that there is no limit on what you can do to them. If it's underage it'd typically specifically say they are underage.
