- Why did you build it?

I discovered copp in september 2013. I found this site very original (and so addictive), but the way it was managed did not suit me.
I realized they only wanted to make money out of it, using every way to do it.
(too many ads, $100 minimum for removing pics if we are lucky, child porn to attract more ppl, etc.)

- I came here because someone said there is a strict 18+ rule....and yet, here we are...check username xxxx

Underage pics will always be removed, just let me the time to do it. I have a life, a job, and can't be h24 on here.
you can report the posts that don't follow the rules and I'll see them more easily.

I plan to recruit guys for modding, but i want a solid and stable admin crew, so it will take a while.
I prefer to stay alone than choosing the wrong person. I have already received some interesting applications to become a moderator.

CCOP received a lot of reporting cause of the child pornography on
since december, CCOP have been banned by the government, because of the child pornography
When you tried to go on the website, you have a page by the government which say "CCOP have been banned for child pornography" (something like that)
but since january, you don't have this page, cause the site is now shutted down, because the government removed it

Sorry for the bad english, it's the official version of what happened to them, i don't think the government will let the host make the website again after that, so no, the host have definetly removed CCOP

Is the image attachment in this site really unstable? It seems when I try to upload pics it doesn't always appear, and images attached in PM is buggy. It doesn't show anything, and when clicking it just says you're not authorised to view this while showing you that you're not logged in (even though after clicking login, you're just redirected to the homepage, already logged in as is)

I knew about the french government ban, but not in USA or anywhere else... If you tried to connect from another place than France, it worked. What are your sources?

I recoded the upload module to gain more space, but the attachments in PM are buggy, people told it but i didn't fix it yet (i couldn't reproduce the bug). Attachment in posts should work correctly.

I added a fake to someone's request topic, while it did not show in the "preview" of the message, it appears normally in the topic.

Also, maybe we should have a separate official pinned topic where people can report on issues/separate from your FAQs topic.

It is done. But the max size remains 250x250.

Ummm. Any particular reason why an image that is less than 250 x 250 pixels would be detected by the board as being "2736 pixels wide and 3648 pixels high"??

I reduced the images from that size to 250x250. Perhaps the images have some metadata that makes the forum recognise the original size? I'm just guessing wildly now.

Im really not surprised, some people took it wayyy too far and completely ignored the rules on that site, I knew that sooner or later it was gonna get taken down and frankly it did. I assume that the government had shut down the host and wiped out the entire site completely, but i also found out that some hackers took down over 10,000 child pornography sites this past month of February. Im not sure if this is true or not, but the fact that hackers took down over 10 thousands sites, one of them had to be the copp site.

Please help, and also, what kinds and sizes/amounts of attachments are allowed? TIA
