Obviously, if he's extorting users or selling the website, he's not been busted - or at least he's not in jail right now. (i guess he could be out on bail and raising money for lawyers.)

If it is a sting designed to snag users who are worried about their activities, it is "entrapment" if that is even a thing. I do not know or care about the laws in your country, but you ought to figure that out for your own reasons. And do not rely on legal things you read on a cumming website. Think about it; that could happen with any of your accounts i.e. facebook, personal e-mail etc. But why would you be targeted? Unless you're a billionaire or some shit nobody's going to bother with it.
