Can't say I'm surprised (if it's actually down for good), COPP is one of the sketchiest sites on the internet with absolutely zero moderation. So much blatant CP and unscrupulous activity... It's a pretty safe bet that you're a perv if you're an active member there/here, but even with that considered, COPP crossed the line. Some of the stuff posted there had no business of being on a non-darknet site. Also wasn't a fan of their "no deleting posts" policy, once your shit was out in the open, it was practically impossible to get it off.

Granted, I'd still miss the site and the community (for the most part), it was undoubtedly the best place to go for a very esoteric porn activity. This place has big shoes to fill.

3-7 days, troll traffic flooding.
8-14 days, server transfer. (Admin there switches hosts/servers every couple of years.)

Those are events that have happened in the past, several times each.
It was like 2 years ago, where it was down for almost 3 weeks, everyone thought it was over.

Due to there is no actual "closed" indication/only lack of connection, it's more than likely one of the 3 options listed here.
The Admin there has been overseas for awhile. When he moved, he opened up advertisements like crazy & removed all the moderators.
In short, he has kept that site up for the ridiculous revenue that it has brought him, pretty much ignoring everything that's posted there.

To be honest, the only reason I remained there for so long were due to my contacts there.
Hopefully most of them transfer over here/realize this site exists.
When the .com site comes back online (which is highly likely), I doubt I'll go back there anyway.

We'll just have to wait & see.
It was obvious about the money trail for years now, all the admin did was remove all moderation & allow the site to basically free-ball.
The past 2-3 years he has had almost nothing to do with the site other than collecting revenue, not visiting it or anything.
I'll never forget the year he removed all moderators, was the weirdest thing & confused everyone.
Regardless, time to see what potential this site can have!

Tbh I'm kind of glad it has gone. I posted on there a bit, mainly in the celebrity fakes section. And whilst I have a tendency for bdsm and edgy/dark celebrity fakes, I was always pretty uncomfertble with the amount of underage content on the site. I'm a man of particular tastes and I like the darker edges of sex and bondage etc, but kids shouldn't be involved in that shit. Adults can play because we know how to.
I'm looking forward to seeing how to faking community on this site grows though!
